OUR OFFICE CULTURE

Studio MLA

At studioMLA, we value and respect individual employees and strive toward helping them to achieve a healthy balance between work and life outside of work.

Our culture of collaboration encourages all team members to learn from each other and be a part of all stages of project development under the guidance of more senior architects and project managers. As a result, everyone gradually assumes increased responsibility within larger and more complex projects.

Our learn and lunch series, our mentorship program for the professional development of young designers and visits to other team members’ project sites, our end-of- year guided tours of local landmarks such as the Samuel Adams brewery and the Taza chocolate factory as well as our annual participation in the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children’s golf tournament fundraiser, reinforce the dynamic and supportive learning environment of the studio.

At studioMLA we also pride ourselves on supporting local not-for- profit community organizations such as the Brookline Community Foundation, the Brookline Community Mental Health Center, the Brookline Arts Center, the Brookline Teen Center, Horizons for Homeless Children, the Children’s Investment Fund and the Boston Nature Center in their constant effort to serve and make our community a better place.
