Our Office Culture

studioMLA Architects values and respects our employees and strives toward helping them to achieve a healthy balance between work and life outside of work.

Our culture of collaboration encourages all team members to learn from each other and be a part of all stages of project development under the guidance of more senior architects and project managers. As a result, everyone gradually assumes increased responsibility within large and more complex projects.

As a company, we provide many opportunities for our employees. Our learn and lunch series, a mentorship program for the professional development of young designers and visits to other team members’ project sites, our end-of-year guided tours of local landmarks such as the Samuel Adams brewery and the Taza Chocolate Factory, as well as our annual participation in the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children’s golf tournament fundraiser, reinforce the dynamic and supportive learning environment of the studio.

At studioMLA Architects, we also pride ourselves on supporting local not-for-profit community organizations such as the Brookline Community Foundation, the Brookline Center for Community Mental Health, Brookline Teen Center, Horizons for Homeless Children, the Children’s Investment Fund, and Boston Nature Center in their constant effort to serve and make our community a better place.
