SUNY Cortland Child Care Center

SUNY Cortland’s commitment to education and devotion to students and faculty were key driving factors in the redesign of the LEED-accredited child care center and playground.

Completed in the Fall of 2009, the Center is thoughtfully situated on the ground level of the new education building on campus. A central corridor introduces natural light and expansive views into the center and allows direct playground access from each classroom. An array of recycled and renewable materials throughout the building and playground create a natural, healthy, and safe environment.
