Tabard Square

Designed as an integral part of the new community of Berkeley Homes, a new development in Tabard Square, this center serves children from infancy through age 5.

The school meets the challenges of an urban site by incorporating a shared indoor “piazza” area, creating light open spaces, and allowing views into the adjacent courtyard. The classrooms are designed for flexibility and activity variety and encourage project work and interaction between adjacent classes.

studioMLA Architects was the lead Architect and responsible for all architectural and engineering services. The construction and overall development of the project were overseen by the construction department of Bright Horizons.
