SUNY Potsdam Child Care

The State University of New York (SUNY) Potsdam Child Care Center serves the families of University students, faculty, staff, and the community at large. The new 13,000 SF facility with ample natural light creates a bright and welcoming space for learning and play. With two large indoor spaces for motor skills and plenty of secure outdoor space, the design complements the Center’s emphasis on the positive development of emotional, social, intellectual, and physical abilities.

The Center provides classrooms and flexible space for infants, toddlers, preschool, and school-aged children. The Center has a capacity for 106 children. It also includes a commercial kitchen, laundry area, stroller storage, reception space, parent waiting area, break rooms, and library. This project was completed in 2017 with the collaboration of Architectural Resources.
