2011 World Forum

Mike Lindstrom was invited to participate in a presentation at the 2011 World Forum in Honolulu, Hawaii, the week of May 2nd. The presentation included presenters from Singapore and Nepal and focused on how model child development centers can impact overall childcare quality in the community. Mike presented along with Gladys Montes the Vice President and Executive Director of the United Way of Miami Center of Excellence. This project, which was designed by studioMLA Architects, opened in 2007 and has become one of the most influential examples of a community-based outreach for childcare environments quality enhancement.
