Location: Brookline, MA
Our collaboration with the Brookline Teen Center began with two years of pro-bono work assisting with site selection, programming and conceptual design hosting a dozen high school interns in our office each summer and working side by side with them to determine the needs of the center. In late 2010, we were selected to be the lead architects for the balance of the project working closely with associate architect GMI Architects. The project, currently in progress will convert a 12,000 square foot garage building into an exciting, engaging place for teens to go in their out-of-school time. The project includes a gym, two lane bowling alley, academic support areas, music recording studio as well as extensive facilities for academic support and counseling. The building is designed to be LEED certified. |
