The Lincoln School
Lincoln School’s Building Beginnings project, dedicated to expanding and enhancing their Little and Lower schools, broke ground in December 2019. This campaign will expand the Little School program with a new Little School facility on Lincoln’s main campus, and enhance the existing Lower School building. The first phase of the project is a dedicated home for toddlers to 3-year-old students designed to emphasize the joy of learning through a Reggio-Emilia-inspired approach. This state-of-the-art early childhood center will feature innovative classrooms, working space for Little School faculty and staff, and a dedicated outdoor Reggio play space. It is designed to promote a connection with nature, and with sustainability and LEED accreditation in mind. The second phase of the project will transform the entrance of the Lower School into a library and learning center with an emphasis on flexible, student-centered community space. Externally, the facade of the Lower School will be redesigned into a fresh, modern, welcoming entrance to match the best-in-class learning that takes place inside.
